Bazza 0 #1 August 4, 2004 On a wing suit dive at the Lost Prairie boogie, I borrowed a friend?s Pro-Track to record the dive. Once back on the ground, my friend played the data back and graphed it on his laptop (some people bring such things on vacation, I guess ;-) ). Anyway, the data graphed a great variance throughout the dive even though my body position did not change much. The line for speed was up and down like a yo-yo despite me having a long flight in terms of distance and time. I should mention that he did not put the Pro-Track in ?slow-mo mode? before I used it. How accurate is the speed graph? In other words, does a person?s vertical speed vary that greatly during a dive where the body position is held? BTW, the vertical speed was a high of 82 mph (near exit) and got as low as 54 mph but the graph showed a very squiggly line all of the way down. gus 1 #2 August 4, 2004 Where did you have the ProTrack? In your helmet? Its position can greatly effect the 'quality' of its readings. Search around a bit in this forum, it's been discussed a handful of times before. GusOutpatientsOnline.com
