voodew1 0 #1 July 20, 2004 Had a blast at skyfest--1 high altitude load from 21k--I only got 3min20sec thought I would get more! 2 skyvan loads where I saw the top of the plane. The reason for this post is why are there no wingsuits in this state---there was a total of 4 at skyfest. There will be a super otter at Skydive Temple in Salado Texas the weekend of July 31st I know there are more wingsuits in the state -- come out and flock There will be 3 flying for sure!!!! Then myself and another wingsuit pilot almost had them get a running start as we bet them there was no way they could get the whole car in the pond. I would love to try a wing suit. They are just a little out of my price range right now. I am surprised there are not more wing suit flyers around. voodew1 0 #7 July 23, 2004 Yeah you met me on your balloon jump I just unloaded the balloon, watched you float up and away and then load the balloon back on the trailer after you used all the gas. And you think we gave your fiance a hard time!!!! I am surpised she still talks to you after the work out she got putting that balloon back on the trailer---In all seriousness she was a really hard worker, it was hot as hell, the ground was uneven and we spent 30 min. of hard labor putting the balloon back on the trailer--she never complained!!!She is a keeper!!!!! We will have your otter the last weekend of the month hitch a ride up and hang out----Salado has lots of bed and breakfast places and the whole town is for shopping---or I am sure we can find someone to put you up!!! I might just drive up on Saturday. Do you guys have a web site with directions? Yeah, Lori is a super trooper...... She was not too happy at 4 am when we left the house. She said the balloon ride was worth getting up early after a night of hard drinking. You dont't get to choose how you're going to die.
