mccordia 74 #1 January 31, 2004 Heyhey, I'm working with a potential sponsor, and was wondering if it's possible to have a big logo sewn into the arm wings (like a canopy with a logo) I know some text/patches can be sewn onto the arms/legs itself, but since the wings are such a big area, I'd like to know if that was possible (but I couldn't find any info on that at bird-man.com) Anyone know or havy any experience with this??JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? PhreeZone 20 #2 January 31, 2004 Yes, Redbull had a custom S3 made with their logo on the wing. LouDiamond was jumping it at WFFC '03. Ask him about it.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
LouDiamond 1 #3 January 31, 2004 If you have the suit manufactured by Birdman with the logos incorporated into the sewing/build process it is not a problem. It is extremely expensive as the applique's have to be sent out and produced and usually range from 300-800 dollars just for the design alone. Once you have that and then you factor in the price for the suit it becomes very expensive. A good example this suit here and here The design is incorporated into the sewing process and not added after the fact. The applique's plus the suit put the total in the 1800-2000 dollar range."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
leroydb 0 #4 February 1, 2004 What about if you just had BM sew some patches on the wing before it was sewn together?Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio...
LouDiamond 1 #5 February 1, 2004 QuoteWhat about if you just had BM sew some patches on the wing before it was sewn together? Ok, so Leroy will understand Your design/logo can be sewn onto the wings before it it is sewn together. However, the design/Logo(applique) usually is 600-800 dollars depending on complexity. Once the logos return from being made, they are sewn onto the suit as it is being built. This process is not cheap. AggieDave 6 #7 February 1, 2004 So if I send them the patches before its built it will be no problem, right? Just a piece of cake and no extra cost? --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
robibird 3 #8 February 1, 2004 Hi guys, I feel that I can give most accurate answer here. Two ways: 1. we can put patches, this will cost nothing. However it will not really look nice as properly made and attached logo. 2. we can make any logo but the price depends on complexity of the logo. The way we placing the logo is the same as on the canopies. For accurate estimation of the price I need to see the art work first. There is the possibilities like embroidery too but this is most expensive way... LouDiamond 1 #14 February 3, 2004 Quotehow can I get a Tshirt with the logo Your best bet is to call or e-mail Birdman. Jari is on here so infrequently you could be waiting fro an answer for a while. Besides, you will have to either call or e-mail your address and info in anyways."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
