Rodeo/C-182

Recommended Posts

the bird man would hang his collapsed leg wing out the rear edge of the door; while also keeping his/her arms also crossed

the passener would sit on ass behind BM and grip with legs while holding the yoke of the BMs rig.

roll forward and hang on... I have pulled this off numerous times.

Be prepaired for a wild ride the first time......

Another great way is to just do a poised exit with the passenger behind you holding the sides of your rig or the yoke. Sit with your back to the instrument panel in the C182 as if you were a student, then put both feet on the step and roll forward getting ahold of the strut with your hands, being careful not to spread your arms apart far enough to inflate the wings. Leave your feet together and stay as small as possible keeping the knees bent as the passenger climbs behind you. Step to the right and open up into the relative wind. It's fun.
Just my 2 cents...

We've been wondering about this up here in the frozen north....first warm, sunny day we'll try this out. Glad to see that both of the ideas we had have been tried before.
