DaMan 0 #1 September 5, 2003 It all started when... BM came to Z-hills for demos; one of the BMIs felt ok with my wife doing a demo with extensive instruction (she's just under 200 jumps) and an instructor along side, but the weather turned before we got a chance to jump a suit. The following weekend, I tried to setup a demo at Deland, but as no one knew our skills, they would not agree to a demo for her...Colon Berry offered to have her try a pair of proto-type tracking pants (Check out the attached picture) to get the feel of a suit without the added worry of the wings (sounds like a good idea). I tagged along with a demo pair of Pantz - I fell like a rock next to her! When we landed, she had that first hit look on her face..."LET'S GO AGAIN!" We went again, but I wore my camera wings as well. It worked out pretty well - we flocked within 20 feet until break off... I bought a GTi today! I just hope I get a good bonus after the new year...she's not going to be happy with coke once she tries the crack .Z-Flock 8 Discotec Rodriguez Too bad weapons grade stupidity doesn't lead to sterility. Rdutch 0 #2 September 5, 2003 That was you, Jari told me he had some people that wanted to get Bmi at the Hillz, I was there, but no one asked me about it. He was very busy planning a trip so our communication wasnt the best, so I didnt know who it was. Anytime you want to come to Deland Pm me and I can help you out, and I should be coming to the Hillz quite regularly in the future. Good luck. Ray Small and fast what every girl dreams of! Rdutch 0 #5 September 6, 2003 Well yes I am a BMI, actually I was one of the first Bird-men ever, long story but here is the short version, Bob Halett had a Bird-man suit that he got very early. I had like 300 jumps and I begged and begged him, he told me if I was in such a hurry to jump it he would help, (Mike johnston told me if I was in such a hurry to die there is easier ways). So Bob gave me a 4 hour lesson, mock up, 20 pulls, cutaway wings ect, and then Im off. the jump was awesome, cool thing is Norman Kent and Nicole bought suits and I got to tell them what I knew, (absolutely nothing) and they learned that much from me, but I have been jumping bird-man almost as long as there has been bird-man, I also have almost a thousand jumps on my head and sit, bet ya didnt know that either, there is more to life than 4way video, but 4way video pays me to train to swoop, so Im all about it. I do fun jump a lot, but most people dont see it, because its during the week, mostly first load of the day. Remember, we did a fun jump bird-man in Sebastian.
