kevin922 0 #3 August 12, 2003 cool suit..surprised they didn't put any silver in there.. how are those logos done? sewn on? who's suit is that anyway?
SkymonkeyONE 4 #4 August 12, 2003 It's an S3 that was sew custom, but ended up too small for it's designated recipient. The logos are sewn on applique and let me tell you, that's one sexy looking suit. Oddly, the wings were smaller on that suit (by some margin) than on my own S3. BirdMan owns the suit and yes it's for sale. Chuck
leroydb 0 #5 August 12, 2003 hey that is styling monkey style... was that meant for felix Bumbgardner? i will i knew you could have logo's sewn on... sending mine back and putting double diamonds on......... . . . .Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... I remember talking to BM about this when I was getting my S3, wanted the AF logos on the wings... it adds a considerable amount of expense to the suit.. and has to be done before the ribs are sewn on I believe.. my s3 has stitching on the leg wing rib coming out so it will eventually have to be sent back :(

LouDiamond 1 #16 August 15, 2003 Vector boy has some video of me from exit to a DZ.com record big way flock somewhere that I have yet to see. I am guessing that it might not have come out. We actually went up with the sole purpose of taking stills one day and the bite switch broke at the camera body connection while on the climb up. Shortly there after the plane had to land due to weather and it was a very tense moment as we landed in a jam packed otter that felt like it was coming out of the sky. Someone, has got pics of me flying it somewhere."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
VectorBoy 0 #17 August 15, 2003 Actually Lou I was flying Phree's camera helmet. Which is larger than my big ol head. The video isn't all bad and I hope to get copies from whom ever has good wingsuit footage from the event. Your exit was very nice center frame. Check it out! Its a shame we could not have filmed more due to actually having to work and the weather because the wingsuits were rocking the the place something fierce! LouDiamond 1 #18 August 15, 2003 So I guess Phree has that dive footage on his tape then? I (we) will have to make sure that he gives it up or at least gets us a few grabs from it so we can enjoy"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
PhreeZone 20 #19 August 15, 2003 Correction... Martini Shots currently has that footage. I gave them all my tapes to digitize in hopes of getting some of my stuff on the boogie video this year. Once I get my tapes mailed back to me I'm making my own boogie video and will gladly send out frame grabs.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
LouDiamond 1 #20 August 15, 2003 So I guess that means we can hope to see that footage about this time next year. Seriously, let me know when you get your tapes back as I'd really like to see that footage."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
VectorBoy 0 #21 August 16, 2003 You got some footage too Lou, is it viewable? Are you gonna make a disk? I have yet to see it.
LouDiamond 1 #22 August 16, 2003 QuoteYou got some footage too Lou, is it viewable? I wouldn't consider it worth using for a video. Seems that the cat crap I put on the lens worked fantstic except for a small ring dead center of the lens. So I have this great footage of everyone who isn't in the center of the shot. That bad ass diamond we flew is covered with haze. The time I flew over you, covered in haze. The only real good parts is the hang before launch and during our transition into flight. Moral of the story: put the cat crap on thick in the center of the lens."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
billvon 3,118 #23 August 16, 2003 > Dude, put your order in before the end of Aug so you get the buddy > deal and get a pair of the smack booty birdman Pantz free. Yep, I picked up the pantz while I was there (ordered a SF3 at Rantoul.) Amy appropriated them immediately. On the plus side, we can now do "birdman" dives together - with the pantz and a floppy shirt on her (and her 6' height) we can stay together with a little effort.
