ManBird 0 #6 June 5, 2003 I might be able to make it there, actually... sans blades. I need to get my car's paperwork in order before travelling that far (registration just expired... not much need to drive in Portland, OR). Any Portlanders headed down there?"¯"`-._.-¯) ManBird (¯-._.-´"¯" Click

quade 4 #9 June 5, 2003 BirdMen take note! The suit looks totally cool but the pose . . . His "Side" photo is the closest I've ever seen of anyone on the ground looking cool in a BirdMan suit. His "Front" and "Back" shots still look pretty dorky, but that "Side" pose is beginning to look a little more like something that would work and still shows off the suit. More like a comic book hero and less like a stick man. Maybe I should hire a choreogpher to design a pose -- or maybe Zoolander.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
LouDiamond 1 #10 June 5, 2003 Hey, I've seen you in your camera suit and helmet and I think the pot is calling the kettle black"It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
quade 4 #11 June 5, 2003 Oh, there's definately a reason I'm wearing the camera, but generally speaking I think camera flyers look quite a bit better posing on the ground than BirdMen do. That whole, arms out to the side, legs spread apart thing makes it look like you're about to get searched by the cops or something. "Stop! You in the BirdMan suit! Spread 'em!"quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Quade you ridicule that which you fear.... will take you away from your tedious 4-way. And it will if you ever put the suit on. And stop treating it like bird men are modeling underwear, we are flying through the sky at hundreds of miles an hour with our hair on fire, we are not girly men to be posed on the ground to sell parfum. quade 4 #14 June 6, 2003 I've already made a BirdMan jump. I don't really fear it. I need to drop a few pound and deal with a shoulder issue before I can be really into it. In the mean time, I wanna make you guys look cool. I believe I can do it in the air if you're willing to give it a shot sometime, but I gotta find a way to do it on the ground as well. Oh, and I have a couple of ideas that would be really bitchin' by combining a camera wing top with tracking Pantz. Now wouldn't that look cool?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
VectorBoy 0 #15 June 6, 2003 I'm always up for wingsuit jump and always have it with. I like your Idea and I'm game. Glen
