VectorBoy 0 #1 October 13, 2002 I don't have one yet, but I know I have to get one now. Question is where do you keep your protrac on your wing suit so that it reads accurate? And no I can't afford to by two, place them either side of the helmet and average the readings. Glen.
Macaulay 0 #2 October 14, 2002 If you're flying your suit efficiently, you won't need it on your helmet. Still trying to find a good spot. I tried my front pocket, but I fly with legs quite a bit, so I get really bizarre stats back from moving it in and out of the wind. Might try to rig it up to a mudflap. - Mac
SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 October 14, 2002 Don't know about other rigs, but my Superfly has pockets on the inside of the mudflaps. maybe you could put it there (just make sure it's secure).____________________ Say no to subliminal messages
cpoxon 0 #4 October 14, 2002 Do you have a warning label with a pocket on the bottom of the back-pad of the container? I do on my Voodoo. It's a little uncomfortable but I've been experimenting with it although I don't have any comparitive data yet.
VectorBoy 0 #5 October 15, 2002 Yes I do have this pocket, but isn't this the absolute center of our burble= lowest pressure? Glen
verticalflyer 11 #6 October 22, 2002 I put mine in my socks by my ankle seems to get clean air and provide good data. Cheers FraserDont just talk about it, Do it!
cpoxon 0 #7 October 23, 2002 Oops, sorry, missed this one. It may be the lowest pressure area, but more importantly, I reckon it may be the most static place, giving more consistent readings.
