Dave1216 0 #3 July 8, 2004 umm, how's this. Although, if you haven't seen one before, they look meaner than they are.

Well, he got out of the entanglement ...but he stabbed himself seven times in the process. BSBD, Michael

dragon2 2 #7 July 9, 2004 Well you're not the only english guy walking around with serious knives....... You should see some of them I haven't looked closely enough to know how they're attached, but some of the crew dawgs have 2 or 3 of those on them... I think tho, England is the only country (I've seen so far) where they use such knives for skydiving, maybe take the hint ciel bleu, Saskia
Dave1216 0 #8 July 9, 2004 It really isn't as mean as it looks. The point is rounded off and so is as pointy as a car key. The blade is in the curve so your less lightly to cut yourself. The blade is not particulary sharp either. It stays securely in the shealth (see the wings on the handle).
PhreeZone 20 #9 July 10, 2004 In a wrap you want to be pulling the knife towards you, not stabing at it. With a traditional hook knife it will get more material the more you pull, and it will even slide up and get lines if you are somewhat close.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
meandean 0 #10 July 10, 2004 if the "blade is not particularly sharp", then why would you rely on it to save your life? -slasher-
