Hummusx 0 #1 September 5, 2003 I'd like to get some opinions on what the following rig might be worth: Reflex R350 (400 jumps), superb condition! mjosparky 4 #2 September 5, 2003 You might want to PM Skybytch, she pretty up on gear prices/value. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
skybytch 273 #3 September 5, 2003 Reflex - depending on if it has harness rings or not and where you are in the US - $300-500 Sabre 150 - $600-800 depending on the condition of the line set MR150 - $500-ish Cypres will need it's 8 year service next year... with the introduction of the Cypres2 and the fluctuation in prices due to the currency exchange rate I'm not real up on the values of used Cypres at the moment. I'd guess it's worth $400 or so as is but I could be way off on that. Note - I would not recommend this rig to anyone with an exit weight over around 150 pounds, especially if it's your first rig. The MicroRaven 150 reserve was not built to handle being loaded over 1.0.
Hummusx 0 #4 September 5, 2003 Quick question about the Cypres (in general). If the 4 year service isn't performed until 5 years after it is manufactured, does the 8 year get done 4 years after that or 8 years after DOM? This one had service in 2001, so it won't be up for service until 2005 by the 4 year method, or next year as you mention by the 8 year method. ____________________________________ It’s like selling a million grills all at the same time…with extended warranties. -Hank Hill
PhreeZone 20 #5 September 5, 2003 All maintence on the Cypres is based on DOM.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
riggerrob 643 #6 September 5, 2003 A point that has annoyed several of my customers is that if a Cypres sits in a closet too long and misses its 4-year-check, then the customer has to pay for BOTH the 4-year and 8-year checks. What is the difference between a 4-year and an 8-year check?

I think this is just to keep people from trying to skip the 4 year check to save money.David "Socrates wasn't killed because he had the answer.......he was killed because he asked the question."
