Estimation of gear value

-Late 90's Sabre 190
-Late 90's PD176
-1 year old cypres

About 400 jumps on the main/container, no reserve rides or cypres fires. Everything looks really good and it would be purchased locally.

Add "-ish" to all prices.

I'd figure that's worth around $3000. Container $800, main $800 with newer lines (adjust down if it needs a line set), reserve $700, Cypres $700.

Have you tried it on? Jumped it?

Yes I did jump it. It fits me pretty well (although honestly I can only compare it to the various student gear that I've jumped).

I'll second Skybytch's estimate, but would increase the value of the Cypres. You can't get a new Cypres for less than $1200 in the states, so I'd say any price up to $3200 is fair (as long as the main is in good condition). $3000 would be realy good price.

There are DZOs who'll sell you a CYPRES at their cost because they think everyone should have one. Along those lines, I paid about $900 brand new for each of my Cypres units - one in 1998, the other in 2000.

Yes, we sell ours as cheaply as possible. But the Cypres 1 is no longer available new, and the Cypres 2 is quite expensive right now. That means, the fair market value for used Cypres 1's is higher than it used to be.
