freeflyimpaired 0 #3 September 24, 2005 I've been on an unsuccsessful 10 way that had 8 in, but the largest planned and completed formation was 7. Those were some of my most memorable jumps. Joe. Edit: Sorry, those were head down. Head up is much harder. I think the number is 4 and that was ugly, actual solid formation with all head up is probably 3 to be truthful. cutaway1 3 #4 September 24, 2005 to be trueful, out of the maybe 15 freeflyers I get to jump with, several with over 1,000 ff jumps, I have to say that probably an honest 3 way head up dock was the best I've been on, and that was rare. Much easier head down, but we're working on it with passing objects, we made 7 passes, and trying to clap hands and fly hands on shoulders. It all helps, we have to get out of this sit fly, and stand fly thinking, and into fluid upright flying, which is challenging and big fun.SCR-
Judit 0 #5 September 24, 2005 Before it seems like I'm not telling the truth here I'd like to add a couple of things. Those jumps were in Eloy pre Project Horizon. I was lucky enough to get on jumps with the likes of Jason Peters, Dave Donnelly, Storm Dunker, TJ, Dusty Smith, Jackson, Punisher, locals from Eloy and people arriving for Project Horizon a bit earlier. The average for jump numbers hit 3-4000+ so I can safely say I was by far the least experienced jumper. It was quite intimidating but it was certainly one of most amazing experience of my skydiving career. I think I was on that 7 way. My personal best too. I cant wait for the opportunity to do more bigger stuff. I bet the Halloween Boogie in ATL will be sick. As far us upright stuff. Dave Brown, Joel Burnap, myself, and someone else, flew the sweetest 4 way upright one time. It was pretty solid. we also launched one out of the otter that flew so sweet, then a HD stinger came in for a dock. PJ
