WrongWay 0 #1 April 23, 2005 Hey everybody.......I'm ordering a tighter, more form fitting suit (matter proconcept suit), and I'm wondering if it's worth getting grippers on it or not. I can't decide. Experienced freeflyers opinions? Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails.

WrongWay 0 #5 April 25, 2005 What ones do you have? There are options for arm, upper leg and lower leg. Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails.
78RATS 0 #6 April 25, 2005 we got all three. The lower leg ones are specifically because Nationals require Compressed Accordion docks be below the knees. The upper leg ones cuz that's where we like to build Compressed when not competing. Trent 0 #7 April 26, 2005 Yeah, I don't think you should really need them... BUT... We've thought about putting upper leg grips on our new suits for the World Games since the judges seemed to have a lot of problems judging speed. We've never had them before, and don't really want them... but for competition we gotta make the judges job easier.Oh, hello again!

jdfreefly 1 #10 April 26, 2005 We had grippers on our suits, and everyone made fun of us. Specifically, I remember Storm cracking a joke.... Then one day, we were in the door on a freefly jump, and he was looking for something to grab...He said he saw the gripper and thought, "Gee, I'm really glad that's here!" I say get them. 78RATS 0 #11 April 26, 2005 dude. It's not the grippers they are making fun of. hahaha Rat for Life - Fly till I die When them stupid ass bitches ask why
GravityGirl 0 #12 May 2, 2005 Are you flying pieces? Launching stuff with grips other than hands? Building stair-step formations? If you answered yes to any of these question, you should consider grips on your next suit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
