FFlyer 0 #1 April 12, 2005 What was that one annoying thing you just couldn't get right? How did you eventually fix the problem? For me it was forward movement in a sit. I tried pushing my hips forward, tried pushing my back and shoulders into the wind, tried pointing my toes. Nothing seemed to work every time for me. Sometimes I would get it right without even knowing exactly what I was doing,...then come next jump I wouldn't be able to move an inch forward again. Ive now fixed the problem with a combination of going into a bit of a stand and then pushing my back backwards. Ive still got a problem of not being able to fall down the tube while in hd but im getting better. Will have to report back on that one in a few weeks (months? years?) when I get it right. Have any of you had one particular thing which you just couldn't get right, and then all of a sudden a light switch was turned on and voila...problem solved! WrongWay 0 #3 April 12, 2005 For me it was full cartwheels. I just couldn't seem to rotate all the way around. I'd go from my head to a sit and then just kinda stay there. To be honest, I dunno what I did to fix the problem.....one day I could just do it. I guess sometimes when life is good, it's better not to ask why. weegegirl 2 #6 April 12, 2005 There's always something. I have some body position issues to iron out right now. In fact, I'm probably looking at most of this season to "relearn" a new form. Building bad habits and getting used to flying "funky" is NOT GOOD. Sure... I can fly on my head and hold my own. BUT... unless I stop now and fix some stuff, it'll just hurt me in the longrun. Sooooooo... on that note.... hello 2005 season! Off to a fantastic start!
 MarkM 0 #7 April 12, 2005 Not relying on my arms. At the moment I'm still learning to use my legs as my control surfaces and then I want to get to the point where I can put my arms behind my back while maintaining a stable on heading sit.
