I would think that it would help quite a bit. Yup. I did a block of coaching with Flight Club and it was great...the coaching and the air-to-air. For me, being able to hear short commands in conjunction with hand signals, got me sorted out much quicker. Trying to learn new skills in the air can definitely be overwhelming at first. There is little to no muscle memory and you need to focus on multiple things. Is it my hips, legs and/or arms that are doing something they shouldn't be? A quick 'hips forward' caught my attention and was processed a lot quicker than the hand signal. Plus, it is just pretty cool to hear someone in the air. Apart from coaching while in freefall, the system was useful under canopy too. Playing around with CRW-like stuff and setting up different landing patterns together was great. Peej 0 #4 April 7, 2005 I did a whole bunch of coach jumps with Mike Swanson while he was still testing his system and i have to say that it was amazing. Being able to hear the coach instead of trying to concentrate on hand signals makes such a difference. Plus during the flight back to the DZ he'd be de-briefing me under canopy, very cool. philh 0 #8 April 17, 2005 I have used the in air com system both in the tunnel and in freefall with Alchemy. I can confidently say it is amazing. The audio is very clear. The differecen it makes to the learning curve is awesome. I would go as far as to say the com system is almost as useful as tunnel time,. I think it will revolutionise the sport.
