The111 1 #1 August 19, 2003 If I had my own rig, this would be no problem, I'd just take it to the bathroom scale. But I'm still renting from the DZ, and I'm curious how much my rig weighs so I can figure out WL. Can't find any weight specs on manufacturer's pages. Just a ballpark figure, how much does a Vector with Spectre 170 and PDR 160 weigh? 20 lbs? 30lbs? 40lbs? Thanks...www.WingsuitPhotos.com

The111 1 #3 August 19, 2003 Yeh, I was guessing something like that, but I read a post by Shannon Pilcher a few days ago and he used a number that seemed really high to me (30-35 maybe, don't remember), especially considering he had a sub-100 main in there. That got me confused.www.WingsuitPhotos.com
Hooknswoop 19 #4 August 19, 2003 25-ish for a sport rig, 55-ish for a tandem rig. Derek
SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 August 19, 2003 Without weight bags in, my heaviest rig weighs 17.1 pounds. My BM rig weighs 16.3 (no CYPRES).
pilotdave 0 #6 August 19, 2003 When I was jumping student equipment (javelin, 230 main...), I'd gain 20 lbs geared up according to the scale at the DZ. Dave
Clownburner 0 #7 August 19, 2003 I've got a Tri 220 main and a PD218 reserve in a Vector3 loaded with skyhook and hard inserts; it's 32 pounds. I'm sure that's the high-end of the sport container weight range.7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth
