Oh you mean taking things lightly and with humor? Maybe all fliers could use a dose of humor and take it as such instead of worrying about who its going to offend or who considers it lame.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
GTAVercetti 0 #27 December 10, 2004 Personally, I think that shirt is hilarious. And I am a bellyflier. I too sometimes see a rift at my DZ between some bellyfliers and freefliers, but I think that what makes that rift if when: a) people make these things out of spite (which I don't think was the intention here) 2) the people who see them take them seriously instead of laughing. At least at my DZ, making fun of each other pretty much required. It keeps us humble. I would have it no other wayWhy yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing. GeordieSkydiver 0 #28 December 10, 2004 Why is there a rift? I thought freeflying was just another part of being a skydiver. I've never freeflown (?) but I aim to in the near future. Any clothing that mocks your own sport, has to be funny.Lee _______________________________ In a world full of people, only some want to fly, is that not crazy? http://www.ukskydiver.co.uk
GTAVercetti 0 #29 December 10, 2004 I have no idea why there is any rift; we all jump out of planes. I am sure there are ideas of why, but to me it is silly. I will jump with whomever, freefly or belly. If they want to do a fun and interesting jump that fits my abilities, I am down. Doesn't mean I won't still make fun of everyone though Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

Ummm...before people get their feather ruffled, I was trying to be funny with my response. Please reread it: "Not all flat flyers are men. I agree with JP. I see nothing wrong with touching men's grippers. Lame shirt." At least, I thought it was funny to talk about "touching men's grippers".

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #37 December 11, 2004 QuoteWasn't speaking of you per say just that both groups seem to be equally offended when being made fun of. I thought it was all in good fun. I don't think that any (many) people really feel that way. When I first started reading things in this sport I saw a lot of "lawndart", etc, jazzing the freeflyers. I guess there are some who will take it too seriously, but hell, you can't please 'em all, right? I thought it was funny:D But, you have to add "...not that there's anything wrong with that." -A

Well this is only me second post and i am very new, 24 jumps, so this is my take. I want to freefly really bad, but at the same time, i dont remember my aff 1st jump coarse saying anything about sit flying. It was all about the arch. I just want to jump and i am very happy to jump with anyone who is able to teach me something new and is up for a good time.
