WrongWay 0 #1 August 3, 2004 that there is more to freefly than head down. I was just sitting here reflecting on my skydives this weekend, and I came to a realization that I only went upright maybe twice, and that was just to close some vertical separation on someone much lighter than myself. I have seen a lot of people (including myself) focus so much on inverted flying that they have slacked on their upright currency. Do more upright flying. I plan to this weekend. Brains 2 #2 August 3, 2004 Good point Jason. I tend to only fly upright these days unless i am specifically working with one other person on my HD flying. I am more comfortable in a group if i am head up, therefore i perform better and am safer to myself and the group. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. I used to be much more solid upright, but then I just got uncurrent on my feet. I can still fly around and take any dock I want, but I think my precision skills have lapsed a little bit. Either way, I'm long overdue for some upright dives. Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails. goose491 0 #4 August 3, 2004 Why don't you just make a conceint decision to split the dive up into different orientations? Plan dives that track, dive, sit... all the good stuff. 'tis the nature of freeflyin' anyhow. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
Vertifly 0 #5 August 3, 2004 Yeah, yah just gotta get out there and do it head up. Easy to get caught up (well, upside-down). I think it puts things more out of perspective in that positive way, ya know...The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. From the edge you just see more. ...
