Slowly but surely...

Recommended Posts

Well I continue to work on my head down and with my last bit of coaching with Dave Brown (got a whopping 8 jumps under my belt now) and my many many solos so not to take anyone out in air during the learning curve, I am finally finding some stability.

Position is not perfect....need to get my arms more out front (and use those muscles I've been building the last year) and widen those damn legs (I fall like a frigin bullet [:/]) but BUT had to share my first bit of evidence that I am getting there (compliments of my favorite Badfish :)
Thanks to everyone who has given me tips and support along the way! Just had to share.....

I dig the pic girlie!! ;)

Yeah, widen those legs!! Just remember, don't force them out, relax, breathe, and gently push them out. They'll go where you want them to if you're relaxed. ;)

Keep goin for it!! :)

Another thing that your coach probably mentioned to stop doing is the "pie plate" position with your arms. Not trying to be rude, just bringing it up since it is one of those habits that can be hard to get rid of.

Also, if you are going to the gym anyway(I dont know if you are) you should hop on the "leg separater" machine. That will get the strength in your legs and the muscle control to relax your upper body while flying your legs.:)

I do the leg stretcher thingy ;) and just don't pay attention to the dirtbags who seem to hover in that area :P...

Thanks for the "pie plate" tip. I have to mentally get it together, build muscle memory because if you see my vids, my coach gives me the arms sign, I correct and then a few seconds later they are back.

All in time.....it's coming together
