bgy8nas 0 #1 August 11, 2003 Does anyone know anything about the Phantom 145 reserve. I have been offered a second hand one but can't find any info. Who makes it, how does the pack volume compare to PD, what are peoples opinions about the quality? Cheers nick
ojf1982 0 #2 August 11, 2003 I am of the opinion of not going cheap when buying a reserve, because it is your last chance. Spend the extra and get a Techno, PD , Tempo reserve. The edge ... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who know where it is are those that have gone over - Hunter S. murrays 0 #4 August 11, 2003 I've had a Phantom 145 for 17 years in what is _now_ my second rig. I have had three rides on it...one about an 8 second delay after an intentional cutaway, one a quicker pull after an intentional and the third a low speed after a crw wrap. It landed me great, the openings were fine. If it passes a good rigger's inspection, I wouldn't be afraid of buying it if you're getting a good deal....but it has to be a good deal!-- Murray "No tyranny is so irksome as petty tyranny: the officious demands of policemen, government clerks, and electromechanical gadgets." - Edward Abbey
