LouDiamond 1 #26 August 19, 2003 Don't know about flight suit gills but I know Birdman Pantz will give you excellent leg power and some drag ina HD. Check out the Birdman Pantz thread in the wingsuit forum for more feedback from people who are using them and their unbiased opinions."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

LouDiamond 1 #30 August 19, 2003 Here is a bit of video footage of Pantz in action. You decide if they work good or not PS: The camera man is wearing the pantz. Save the vid to disk if it looks jerky while playing for a better quality picture."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

op5e 0 #32 April 25, 2005 I did not want to make a thread on this topic because it has probably been beaten to death. So instead I have brought to life an old one. I am considering purchasing some freefly pants. I will probably puchase RMW pants and probably buy birdman pants in 6mths if I get into tracking. I just wanted to know why people use specific freefly pants instead of just normal pants. I have been wearing dragin jeans (http://www.dragginjeans.com.au/products/index.htm) under my jumpsuit for most of my jumps. Mainly because these are my most comfortable pants I own, and if they help in a motorbike crash I am sure they will save my knees from getting scratched a little. The ones I have are cargo pants, so perhaps I should get ones without a pocket so it doesnt flap around in freefall. But other than putting velcro or elastic around the ankle is there anything else that would make these pants unreasonable for freefly. Other than re-enforced butt and knees and flares, what makes freefly pants? Just thought I would add that I do know someone who wears these pants and came off a bike. They got scratched by the kevlar in the pants, but we will never know if this is/was worst than wearing normal pants and being scratched by the road. Also what makes up freefly jackets. How much do these effect you in freefall, and in what way. Edited to add: I am 75 kg and fairly average build. So I do not know what fallrate I will have in Freefly yet. But I do not see me needing extra baggy pants.
