hareefa 0 #1 August 6, 2003 Has anyone jumped a pilot 168? I'm looking for my first rig and have been offered one, but there doesn't seem to be much information about them out there. I've heard they're similar to a sabre 2, any ideas?
dgskydive 0 #2 August 6, 2003 I have put 40 or 50 jumps on a Pilot 150. Great canopy. Very similar to a Sabre2. Great openings, fun to fly and lands very nicely. This is a great canopy for new jumpers looking to grow. Or for more experienced jumpers looking for something fairly tame. I think you will be well served by this canopy. PM me if you have anymore questions.Dom
andy2 0 #3 August 6, 2003 billvon has a pretty good review of a Pilot. I think he might of been loading it more than you would be though (just guessing here, he played around on, I think, a 135). Sounds like a cool parachute! --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
billvon 3,107 #4 August 6, 2003 They fly similarly to a Sabre 2. Excellent openings. Very heavy front riser pressure and very slow on front riser turns, but for newer jumpers that isn't too big a deal. Great flare power. I am considering getting one for Amy.
