FIRST JUMPSUIT QUESTION

Recommended Posts

I have just gotten into jumping (20 jumps) and am looking to buy my own jumpsuit. I was told i should get something tight and made of nylon because i am very light (125 lbs.)
any recomendations on manufactures, websites, etc. would be very helpful.

If you're looking for a RW suit, then you should really go to the RW forum. I asked this question there a few months ago and got GREAT feedback. And I wrote a review of my BevSuit in the RW forum, too. Check it out.B|

I'm also very light. I have a Bev competition suit, nylon front, spandex back and arms, lower leg zippers to keep the legs tight. Combined with 6 or 8 lbs of weight, my fall rate problems are pretty much solved. No problems with the suit. Chances are my next suit will be a Bev...whenever that is.

I have a very nice Hawk Suit that I purchased brand new for around $250. It is a very nice design, similiar to a Tony Suit. Check them out

It sounds like I am about the same size as you. I ordered mine just like you will probably order yours with a tight nylon front. It is a very clean cut suit and the company has AWSOME customer service. Everyone at my home DZ jumps a Hawk Design, they are kick-ass.

Edited because i'm a re-re and i cna't spell

go to symbiosis suits - they are without a doubt the best RW suits on the market. They have a very cool designer too and come in at about £130 basic with loads of options.

Try their lopo which is designed for fast falling or if you really want to motor their excel (but this is more expensive). Ask people in your DZ shop - they will be able to tell you which your body size would be most suited to. In my opinion you are prob best going with the lopo - the excel is really for serious comp jumpers.
