GeorgeOrwell 0 #1 July 29, 2003 Just a quick post to see if anyone has heard any new news on when the Neptune's are going to ship. And if they will be able to have them ready for the WFFC Thanks *-------------------------------------------------- If your not jumping your not living LEARN TO LIVE (L2L)
dgskydive 0 #2 July 29, 2003 WE got a message about them last week or the week before. They are test jumping the first batch and "should be out soon". Although that has been the word for months. If what they say is true you still won't have them for WFFC. We had hoped to have them already. Let's not hold our breath or we may turn BLUE.Dom
kevin922 0 #3 July 29, 2003 I talked to them this week, as well as got an email from the ceo last week. The email last week said that they were testing and if everythign went okay they would ship thursday. I called the following monday and talked to the secretary who said they had not shipped yet but could not tell me why, she had one of the ladies call me back who explained they evidentally went to a funeral of someone who died (bob someone, no not hope)... she said "they would ship this week" but she couldn't tell me when.. I'll believe it when I see it, this is now the crying wolf syndrome. She also added they wanted to make sure they released a solid product, that they've seen too many mfgs. release products that weren't ready.... i will definately be putting my unit through some rigorus testing. We'll see how it works with birdman.
andy2 0 #4 July 30, 2003 imo they should of made sure they had a solid product before the orders were made. But maybe thats just not how things work in the skydiving industry --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm...
