Sometimes when I power it on it freezes and won't do anything no matter what button I hit, the only thing that works Is pulling the battery out, wait a few seconds and try again.. FrancoR 0 #2 March 1, 2013 I have the same issue. GoPro recomende to format the memory card, i did that. So far every time i tried it does not have this issue. DSE 5 #3 March 1, 2013 Always format, never delete the memory card. Formatting cleans the card, deleting leaves behind fragments of files. This is true for all camera formats, but GoPro seems to have greater sensitivity. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kallend 2,113 #4 March 2, 2013 I had a GP3 Silver that froze up and nothing brought it back to life - returned it and no problems with the replacement. My GP3 Black froze once, but came back to life when I plugged it into the PC's USB port. They do seem rather temperamental.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
