Zeemax 0 #1 July 15, 2003 this has probably been posted already, so i appologise in advance. Just got my bonehead mindwarp, big smiles all round Massive thanks to the skydiving outlet in Deland, if you need anything, speak to Arlo, she ROCKS Anyways, when i opened the box it wasn't the one i was expecting. It looks like the mindwarp, but the sides are flat and it has room for two audibles, one either side. it looks the mutts nuts Just in the baking process now, following the instructions, turned the overn off and left it in there. Just tried to see if it moves and it didn't seem that flexible.. anyone else baked one? whats it like?? cheers Macca Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
AggieDave 6 #2 July 15, 2003 Yeah the new version looks hella better then last years model. Last year's version made you look like a giant penis. I'm still a HUGE fan of the Millinium version.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
Push 0 #3 July 15, 2003 I guess you already found out what it's like to bake it, but anyway. It doesn't really get soft, but it's not hot once you're done with the oven part. The carbon fibre part outside is hot, don't touch it with your hands, but the foam filling isn't. You really can put it on your head. You've got to keep the pressure on for at least 10 minutes. It's not going to set exactly the way you pressed on it, it's going to set a little less, but I've got good results with it. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. Zeemax 0 #4 July 15, 2003 i baked it but the results weren't great, i wanted the chin to come in a bit more, but didn't really work, i'll have another go tonight. Someone clever suggested cable ties, so i think i'll give it a go Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
adamjenner 0 #5 July 20, 2003 yeah i bought the new mindwarp not long ago and I baked it without the chin cup...but i had to bake it 3 times before i got the fit i wanted, you have to really press hard on those sides. i suggest getting a huge towel and wraping it tight around your head and tying it....sure it looks like you have a giant tuban but at least you'll get a good fit on the windwarp
