cssriggers 0 #1 July 11, 2003 Does anyone have a good source for it, for rigging purposes? The online sites I've seen have all been selling it for medical purposes - range of 5.5 to 9.0. We'd like some for testing harness webbing for possible acid contamination. Any input and advice would be greatly appreciated!Alpha Mike Foxtrot, JHL
bch7773 0 #2 July 11, 2003 I imagine quite a few scientific suppy stores have it... I just checked, and http://www.chemical.net has some, along with http://www.spectrumchemical.com Out of curiosity, wouldn't the 5.5 to 9.0 stuff work pretty well? I mean, if it is more acidic than 5.5, won't it just turn the 5.5 color? Will you need to differentiate between 3 and 4, for example, or wouldn't both of them just mean they've been contaminated with acid?
