FliegendeWolf 0 #1 July 3, 2003 I downloaded the packing manual from Aerodyne yesterday, as everyone's advice here is "follow the manufacturer's recommendations." However, the packing manual which, on the cover, is appropriate to the Triathlon only gives instructions for packing a nine cell canopy. Is there much of a difference between packing a nine cell and a seven cell other than counting fewer cells at the beginning and flaking only three cells on the side rather than four?A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

In a pro pack when separating seams between line groups you have 3 with a 7 cell compared to 4 with a 9 cell. That is 3 vs 4 on the right and left of center. Other then that there is no real difference in the packing..... Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"
CanuckInUSA 0 #4 July 3, 2003 As already stated, there really is no difference (just two less cells to flake). And as a former Triathlon owner, I think you'll be presently surprised at how easy that canopy is to pack compared to some others. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Well, packing any canopy will be a bit more complicated when you have a bunch of people standing around heckling you! But I did just fine. I even took it home and unpacked/packed it a few times for practice. Better to spend the time at home getting the hang of packing it than spending time at the dz which could be better spent not missing loads.A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All
