crapflinger2000 1 #1 July 2, 2003 What are people's thoughts on keeping the reserve lines away from the Cypres box? I always used to go to great pains to keep the lines away from the box, not wanting one or two to get momentarily pinched or caught between the bottom of the box and the pack tray, perhaps setting up some asymmetric line unstowing, tension knot, etc... In retrospect this seems a little lame and HIGHLY unlikely, but I was just curious... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do? councilman24 37 #2 July 2, 2003 Nothing involving neatness and a reserve is lame. You should be aware of where all the cables, box, and lines are and use your best judgement. I'm especially observant of what happens to the locking stows around the box as I inset the bag and close the bottom flap. TerryI'm old for my age. riggerrob 643 #3 July 3, 2003 If you really worry about reserve lines snagging your Cypres battery box, then buy a Sidewinder. The first flap in a Sidewinder is sewn to the pack tray and completely hides the Cypres box from the lines.
