davelepka 4 #4 June 17, 2003 Think about waiting for a bit on this one. When you get closer to finishing your student jumps, talk to your instructors and DZO about what gear to look at. Genn 0 #5 June 17, 2003 Buy used gear until you settle into a canopy of your choice. I just hate when students are suckered into buying brand new gear. Ask around, try some on, make sure it fits, and make sure you're not being taken for a ride on the price.... IMO, all fairly new gear is a pretty safe bet Gear has come such a long way.
