andy2 0 #1 June 16, 2003 Other than shoe goo, etc, what can I do for my booties not to wear them out? Rolling them up under so theyre off my shoes for landings once im under a good parachute is about all I can think of. I see a lot of people walking around with their booties on, wouldn't it be better to secure them on the plane ride? --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... PurpleBadger 0 #2 June 16, 2003 it depends on how tightly packed the plane is... if it's light, i leave the booties off... if it is crammed to bursting, i put the booties on just before getting on
 riggerrob 643 #3 June 17, 2003 To reduce bootie wear, install them just before boarding and roll them up right after landing. If you are going to mess with your booties under canopy, please do not do it in the same airspace as me. The single best thing you can do to improve bootie life is the apply a thick coating of Shoe Goo to the soles and first inch of the side walls.
