ikd 0 #1 June 15, 2003 I'm novice, weigh really little, I'm looking for a 150sqf canopy that can be fitted into Atom 00, The manufacturer brochure says that the Electra 150 can be fitted, but I'm looking for an american brand that can be fitted, so I need your help to know which main canopies can the container capacity hold, I've a 127 Techno reserve and a Cypress. SSkydiver 0 #2 June 15, 2003 I'm not a canopy expert, but i think the Spectre would be your best bet for it should have a smaller pack volume. Go to PD's website and you should be able to get the pack volume on all the mains you mentioned. I think the Spectre would be first followed by the Shilhouette then the Sabre2. I have an Atom 00, AFAIK it has held a (brand new) Spectre 150, a sabre 135, a merit 170 (the merit is half F111 half zepo, it's successor the Electra is too so packs smaller), a Spectre 135, a Safire2 145 and now it hold a Safire 135. The Spectre 150 was okay, except I personally wasn't really okay packing a new zepo canopy at 75 jumps. But the packers said it wasn't a problem. The Safire2 145 demo was also newish and a bit of a problem for me, but the packers got that done as well. I suppose thet since the silhouette is also half F111 a 150 would fit as well.
