Has anyone used a TRV-80

Recommended Posts

I can get a new TRV-80 real cheap at a local appliance dealer affiliated with ABC warehouse. It's sitting on a clearance table for $700 and after I offered $400 while buying my wife her Christmas presents (a washer and dryer :)

Haven't used one but its going to be one of the last TRV series cameras made. The camera is a top mount only at the size of it if you are planning on jumping with it. At $500 thats about the same cost if not more then most the PC series used off eBay so the price is just ok. $400 is more of a fair offer since for it since for $900 or so you can get a brand new state of the art High Def camera.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking along those lines (you and Phreezone). I have a pc109 I'm setting up for a sidemount anyway but this thing came up. It would make a good camera for my son and daughter in law but that is about all I guess I would do with it if I could get it for under $300 cause there are a lot of newer models for less than that that they could use just as well.
