sdctlc 0 #2 June 2, 2003 I know a guy selling a 190 Aeroglide (dom '97) with less then100 jumps on it pretty cheap. He is a rigger and does not jump now so the canopy has been sitting in his house for a number of years. Anyway, to help him in selling the canopy I hooked it up for a jumper out at the DZ yesterday to try out. He thought it was a bit slow. I figured that he might think that given he has been jumping a Sabre 190 for his last 30+ jumps. He is looking to buy a main for himself and is trying different canopies to make a comfortable decision in what to buy. His thoughts were that it felt solid in flight but very slow compared to the sabre. He also thought that the flare was not good but watching him land it might have been better if he flared all the way Looks like a solid canopy to get you to the ground but one with not a huge amount of performance. Looks to be a very traditional 7-cell design with no taper of any sort. Probably perfect for a newer jumper or for a demo rig. Since they stopped making them a few years back (somewhere in GA I think) I have not been able to find any information on them in general..... Hope that helps some....
