skip 0 #1 May 29, 2003 About all I can come up with from past threads is that the older Time Out's are big and bulky. Will they fit in modern audible pockets or do they need to be mounted to the side of the helmt. thanks in advance .:skip
nacmacfeegle 0 #2 May 29, 2003 There are two 'older' types, the first has no slots and is difficult to mount without a pouch, they are about 1 1/2 times as thick as a protrac/dytter. the second type has a slot at each end of the 'box' so it can take zip ties etc. With a little work they can be mounted anywhere a dytter will go, but they are a little larger. As for big and bulky, I wouldn't say that, they are 'thicker' than a protrack though, they fit inside a protec and most frapp hats, and can fit the fabric/flexible type pockets. You may have issues fitting them in some hard "pockets" but nothing a little 'grinder love' can't resolve.. Modern Timouts are much more compact and will fit anywhere a protrac/dytter will go .-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me.
