SkymonkeyONE 4 #1 May 29, 2007 I got really sick of people stealing my gaffer tape rolls so I prodded around and found a great sourse online for cheap: www.tapebrothers.com They will ship you individual rolls for $12.50 apiece (2"x 50 yards) in pretty much any color you like. I got me some Flourescent Orange because that's how I roll and nobody on the DZ uses anything but black. It's the "Pro Gaff" brand. pilotdave 0 #5 May 29, 2007 I searched around B&H's site and finally found 2"x10 yard rolls for something like $9 or $10 (black only?). Obviously more expensive per yard, but it would take me about 50 years to get through 50 or 60 yards of that stuff. The 10 yard roll is a reasonable size that I don't mind carrying around. It's the premium grade Permacell tape, which according to my vast research (ha!) is the preferred type of gaffers tape in the film industry. All I know is it sticks real good, comes off without leaving goo, and is really easy to tear straight pieces. But it is the boring black color.
