MrHixxx 0 #1 May 28, 2003 I remember reading that Gath has a new external Protrack mount to go on existing helmets. I am looking to replace the neoprene pocket on my Mindwarp. Anyone know where I can get one of these??? -Hixxxdeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
Yoshi 0 #2 May 28, 2003 the mount should have come with the protrack... you can zip tie it thru some hole drilled into the helmet (I would also put a little gaffers tape around it for added security) if you dont have one you can email l&b and I am sure they will send one for no charge.. they are only second best in service compared to a mother:) -yoshi_________________________________________ this space for rent. MrHixxx 0 #3 May 28, 2003 No, not the L&B product. Gath has a new complete enclosure that you can use for existing helmets. I already have an L&B mount with a neoprene sleave around it. I am looking for something that is easier to use and protects the unit better... -Hixxxdeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when
jdhill 0 #4 May 28, 2003 Just put it inside the helmet... cut a pocket in the lining, unless you have a huge melon, it should fit. Did this with my mindwarp millennium. works just fine and can hear it better too. BMFin 0 #5 May 28, 2003 I have one of those gath mounts in my Gath hat. Its called Gath skyhat pack. I bought it from the dealer I bought my helmet. It was around 10 € If you have a Gath hat, I recommend to buy it. It seems pretty secure , for an outside mount. Just ask your dealer.

MrHixxx 0 #7 May 28, 2003 unless you have a huge melon*** It just so happens, I have a huge melon. It is like an Orange on a toothpick, like Sputnik: spherical yet quite pointy in places. I have to use oversized pillows, it is pretty serious. But really, I baked my helmet and it is too tight for an audible on the inside now. My poor son has inherited it. He is 4 and he can wear his mother's cowboy hat. They complain about him head butting the other children at daycare. When he gets in the other children's faces, they all cower cause of the adult size melon he is toting around... -Hixxxdeath,as men call him, ends what they call men -but beauty is more now than dying’s when

VectorBoy 0 #9 June 4, 2003 I got a different pocket made of cordura, webbing and two rings from bone head. Its easier to get it out to change settings on it without haveing to stretch the older neoprene.
