Igorsky 0 #1 December 14, 2006 Hello. Sorry if my post has already been discussed... Anyone is using a digital camera with the HardDisk Drive? Does the new system work or there are inconvenients that make more useful the "old" mini dv? Thanks. Igor -Italy-

phoenixlpr 0 #3 December 14, 2006 Hard drives are not designed for working on low pressure environment like 4000-6000m. Heads of the hard drives are floating/flying on the top of a tiny air pillow over the surface of the disk. Drives are breathing through an air filter, so air pressure goes down heads and flying lower and they do not like mechanical shock. So for skydiving your friends are the tapes and the solid state memory devices.
