Kidd 0 #1 September 8, 2006 Is anyone using this software for editing? If yes, how do you like it? Any problems running it?
sdctlc 0 #2 September 8, 2006 I ahve been using 9.5 and have had very little problems with it. Now and the the computer barfs but I think that is more of a RAM issue and it got much better when I put more Ram in. I am at over 750MB Ram with a 2GHz processor. Usually it is a fast edit software program and is easy to use. The only draw back as I dee it with NLE systems is the rendering tiimeto go from the project to DVD burnable format. I can about edit a video in less time then it takes to render it... Scott C."He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

(20 time in one night) It you are looking for a program that is similar to uses try PowerDirector 5, works well and the burning time for a DVD is about 8 minsRegrets are just unfulfilled dreams
mwabd1 0 #5 September 9, 2006 I am using Studio 10 and yes it did crash alot but the latest patch has fixed that problem. I like the studio line for tandem videos if for no other reason than ease of use. It renders effects and transitions while you edit so rendering time is alot shorter. I would definitly recommend it now that the problems are fixed!
Quincy 0 #6 September 24, 2006 First ... download the latest version 10.6. Have used it and it has performed very well. No crashes or other problems. On their website, Pinnacle even has approx. 14 online video tutorials on how to use some of their special editing features, tools, and techniques. Some basic, some very useful. As of 10.6, it is quite stable and good. As for a history of 10, I had 9.0 then 9.5 then ordered 10.0 in the pre-release. Initially ... a screaming dog. Get the newest updates. You'll be AMAZED at how much better it runs. It also seems 10.6 has cleaned up some of the settings panels to make them more user friendly. Bottom line, very happy with 10.6.
