Scoop 0 #2 September 5, 2006 Forgive me if I appear whuffo like in regards to freefall photgraphy but is the altimeter actually a part of the assembly or just found its way on your helmet for the photo. If it is on the build, what is its purpose. I can only guess its so people hamming it up for the cam don't forget what altitude they are at. Is this right? Thanks! Yours curiously... Gadget 0 #3 September 5, 2006 and the tandemmaster can see his altitude whitout looking at his handsIf people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes??? My logbook
jimmytavino 16 #4 September 5, 2006 correct Scoop and correct again gadget...I had room on the helmet, I had a second altimeter, I had some time.. I had an idea That very alt. now rides on the wrist of a good friend, who gets it "to altitude" more often than me, lately... That helps keep it in good working order.. I shoot video on most all of my jumps and many of those are RW dives... Many of my pals tend to stick around after seperation,, and so the Alti was there to scare 'em off...
