kefran 0 #1 August 30, 2006 hi guys, just to know : does some of you use a polarizing filter at the same time than the wide angle ? would it be a good idea ? I think it should enhance the quality of views for those days witha lot of sun upthere :) thanks in advance !-------------------------------------------------- I never used 2 rocks to start a fire ... this is called evolution ! quade 4 #2 August 30, 2006 Polarizing filters are "good" in certain circumstances and for certain specific effects. That said, it's difficult to control the angles required to achieve those effects while skydiving, so most of the effect is wasted as is about 2 stops of otherwise useable light that could be going to the imager. While possible, I'd generally avoid unless trying to do something very specific and on a jump where both the placement of the camera flyer and the subject were not going to be in question.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
