Kidd 0 #1 July 31, 2006 Does anyone use Nero 7 Ultra Edition or Easy Media Creator 8 software? I read the other posts on software but didn't see these two.
Icon134 0 #2 July 31, 2006 I use Nero 6 for DVD authoring (i.e. menu construction, etc...) but prefer othe programs for actual video editing.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
Kidd 0 #3 July 31, 2006 My plan is to make videos (skydivingmovies.com) and some for personal use at the DZ. Will I need editing software for adding music and editing images, special effects etc and then something like NERO as well for menus? I don't want high end software but quality for the finished product is a must. Actually, I imagine that's what everyone wants. Since I am new to any video editing of any kind but fairly computer literate I'm concerned about buying an incorrect software package or one that falls short of my needs. I don't have Windows XP, so the free software is out.
dragon2 2 #4 July 31, 2006 Editing software will, well, edit clips So cutting clips, adding effects, stills, titles etc. Most editing software will let you burn to DVD, but that's usually really simple. So for menus etc you need something like Nero Vision, Adobe Encore DVD, etc. The Adobe package is expensive and pretty high-end for a consumer, if you don't want to spend too much money and time, something like Pinnacle + Nero Vision will do the job cheaper and easier. ciel bleu, Saskia
