Mostly_Harmless 0 #1 June 7, 2006 I am about to purchase a Cookie Composites Liquid lens for my PC-109. I saw that you can add a UV filter for a certain price ($44 I believe). Is it worth the money to get it?_________________________________________ www.myspace.com/termvelocity

Peej 0 #3 June 7, 2006 I'm lazy, can you post the link to the lens please? I also have a 109 and am thinking about getting a new lens. My Kenko .45 has let dust inside it and it shows every time i point my camera into the sun Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

It won't work on the royal lens because it does not have that "lip" that the Cookie lens uses to catch the inside of the aluminum attaching ring. It is hard to make out in the photo, but the Cookie has a "step" on the outer edge of the lens body around the circumference. Hope this makes sense
The111 1 #9 June 7, 2006 Yes, that is why I was wondering if there are any products "like" it (similar but not identical) which would work on a Royal Lens. So far I have heard of none. www.WingsuitPhotos.com

Shyandinnocent 0 #11 June 13, 2006 Just buy any old filter that fits over the lens and gaffer tape it stuck. Easy peasy It's never too late for a low turn!
