turtlespeed 226 #1 May 19, 2006 I'm leaving my booties behind . . . Just rec'd the new suit in the mail. no legs - should be cooler - also had the cool-max liner installed in this one. thanks BEVSUIT! Oh - the wings are a size smaller than what I had before . . . it could have been ordered that way- either way - it happened - I'll fly it this weekend - if there are any issues Bev said that she would change it no charge.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
Brains 2 #2 May 19, 2006 Hey clint, most of the vidiots at SSM used to fly those in the summer. Some still do. I have flown in shorts with my camera jacket a bunch. It took just a while to get used to having less on my legs to work with but not that bad. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you. Miami 0 #4 May 20, 2006 I used to jump a suit almost identical to that in the summer at Moss Point, MS. Loved it, and it took very little to get used to the lack of drag on the legs.Miami
Zee 0 #5 May 20, 2006 I always flew in either a shorty or a camera jacket and shorts while I was working at SSM - Too freakin' hot for booties down in Texas. You get used to it pretty quick and the lack of drag on your legs helps put you in a nice steep position where you can just "hang" on your wings. ltdiver 3 #6 May 20, 2006 There was a cameraflyer at the DZ where I was a student who would cut the legs off his camerasuit every summer, then sew them back on in the winter. Seemed to work just fine for him. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Peej 0 #9 May 22, 2006 I love jumping my cam jacket and shorts. But only with the heavier tandems as i'm a big guy myself and sometimes the lack of drag on the legs makes it a little hard to stay with with my TI and a small passenger. turtlespeed 226 #11 June 9, 2006 QuoteLet me know how you like it. . Pretty much how everyone described it - The wings are a little smaller than my full suit - but MUCH more comfortable in the summer. Tevas and wind in the tootsies is nice. I do have to switch back to a full suit if the tandem is lacking in body mass. - I haven't sunk out yet - YET! Here are a few from last weekend.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
PhreeZone 20 #12 June 9, 2006 You need to clean your sensor Do you shoot all your tandems in the portrait orientation? Just wondering.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
steveorino 7 #13 June 10, 2006 yep, sensor needs cleaning. you have dust spot on the left near the bottom, and one center bottom. Good info on that in this forum somewhere. Also, you can adjust the tone and see less shadow -- trade off lof less blue sky. See attached. steveOrino
steveorino 7 #14 June 12, 2006 Oops - here is the edited attahment. Changed the tone and took away some shadow. steveOrino
