Sick Camera

I am hoping one of you camera type people can give me some advice. I have a Nikon Cool Pix 4300. Not world class but took pretty good pictures. Well it jumped out of my hand a couple of days ago and landed on the concrete floor of the garage. Now it appears to be imitating a paper weight.

Is there any chance of it coming back to life on it own or will it take help? If so is it worth what it would cost to revive it?

Give it up dude! I'd concider it dead and get a new canon rebel xt ..

I just know the cost of repair from the manufacturer is more than the camera is probably worth .Will it power up at all ? If you drop the memory card it will damage that , so maybe try another memory card from a friend or something before trashing it .

It won't even turn on. I think I will use it for target practice. Damn, back to the Brownie Box camera.

I'd check battery connection or try to use a plugin power source to.
