Velopilot 0 #26 February 22, 2006 Well after a day and a half of consistent research and price comparing I bought the 20D. I paid 1189 with a lens from B+H photo video. I found one for 889 bucks after a 100$ mail in rebate but buyers beware. After doing a search on this (and other) companies for consumer reviews I found that they were crooks. 1 guy wrote "My 20D came in an unsecured box with a xeroxed instruction manual." USA photo nation and Digital Liquidators are two of these rip off companies. I've worked with B+H before and know they are credible so I went with them. As far as the new 30D goes, they said it wouldn't be on the shelves till late March or April.

garywainwright 0 #28 February 22, 2006 I was also on a tight budget when i went digital so i decided to buy the best glass i could, then see what was left for a body (i was changing from Nikon so my previous lenses would not work) I took that shot with the canon 15mm lens, TV at 1/500th, manual focus and went with ISO 200 as I felt we might just be starting to lose the light. The camera selected F8 glad you like the pic! regards garyhttp://www.garywainwright.co.uk Instagram gary_wainwright_uk
Velopilot 0 #29 February 22, 2006 I didnt get their warranty. I got the 18-55mm but I've got a Quantaray AF 19-35mm 1:3.5-4.5 that I used with a digital rebel and had great results with.
