tetra316 0 #1 January 29, 2006 I've been looking at buying a sony camera and it seems the HC 36 is this years model replacing the 32? The stores are still carrying the 32s and not yet the 36 but from looking online at Bestbuy.com the 36 is about $100 less than the 32 is in the store. I've been trying to find the exact differences between the two. But Sony.com doesn't list the 36 on their website yet. So what is going on? The only diference I can really see if the 36 has a color viewfinder. (I'm not a techie) What is the difference between the two and why is a supposedly new model cheaper than the exsisting one? dqpacker 7 #2 January 29, 2006 No diff. at all really. Sony just adds numbers to sell the new ones. My hc-20 has a color view finder. I would say buy the cheaper one because the diff. between a 32 and a 36 isn't going to be that big. but a 36 to the hc 70 or 90 is. just my .02 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
