AndyMan 7 #2 January 18, 2006 I have absolutely no idea, but I do know that Samsung has released a clone of the *ist DS2, called the GX-1S. If you're looking at the Pentax, make sure to consider the Samsung. Read more about the Samsung here: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0601/06011602samsunggx1s.aspp DPReview also has a good review of the entire Pentax lineup here: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Pentax/ _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. vdschoor 0 #3 January 18, 2006 From the descriptions on the Pentax website, and on Steves-digicams, this looks like a pretty good camera. 2.8fps, for 8 consecutive frames, with an optional wired cable release.. The Digital Rebel (original one) is very similar in specifications to this. 6megapixels.. 3fps for 4 consecutive frames..
Icon134 0 #4 January 18, 2006 From what I've read it looks/sounds like a pretty good camera. Another bonus is that it is suppose to be able to use any Pentax lens (they even make an adapter for Screw mount lenses, anybody have any of those ... I know I do ) ScottLivin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...
