dragon2 2 #3 December 20, 2005 Also, if you only have 18 jumps, you're a long way off from being able to fly a camera. 200 jumps minimum is recommended, preferably way more, and go have a talk with your local camera guys and gals is also highly recommended. BTW don't for get to search for Nikon too if you're interested in a stills camera ciel bleu, Saskia

PhreeZone 20 #5 December 21, 2005 For jumping you really only have Sony as a choice. That said... wait till you get a few hundred more jumps before putting a camera on. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Bob only shoots on the ground and I get the impression that he is refering to Still cameras (of course I could be wrong.) I can't tell you what to get... but I've seen a lot of Sony Camcorders in use with skydiver's and I use one myself (I haven't for very long... ) And Although I have yet to attach a still camera to my head I really like my Digital Rebel XT. The casing is a bit smaller then the original Digi Rebel but my hands are also smaller so for me it is appealing. I've been very happy so far with the images I get from it.. and about the only thing I still want are about 3 or 4 new leses to fill my camera bag.
