Hand Cam Glove Just Arrived from Down Under

Recommended Posts

So um...when you show people their videos, do you tip the TV on its side so the picture looks right?

Seriously, having the camera on it's side obviously helps keep the whole thing lo-pro, but it must make getting good shots even harder...

I'll give it a try. (Haven't jumped it yet.) It appears to be quite flexible. During my tandem course Elio, an instructor and student dummy, wore one while riding on front of one of the candidates. The shots looked great. In fact, the passenger might be the best person to wear it.

They make a vertical cover too.

After seing the picture of your "glove" I was going to comment that there was too much hair on the arm - then I saw the face :P.

Where did you get it from - looks like what I've been looking for. The low profile isn't a thing for me since all my video is heavily posted anyway, but what I'm really looking for is sideways video for tracking and wingsuit jumps or over the shoulder.

Thanks for the info and the pics.

how's that lanc switch working for you there? I can see that being an issue of turning the camera on and off with bumping it on spazzing students and then on the toggles.

And I totally agree, the student is the best place for the camera.....assuming they film themselves and don't kill you with it. Here's some from when I had to ride bitch.....pretty good results from the front.

I only jumped it once so far on a two way hop and pop. I see no problem with the cam eye being inadvertently activated (de activated..)

I've done many videos with the student holdig my camera on a mount like this..

Just have their hands in on exit, because if they extend their arms and geek the camera it plays hell with stability. :S

BTW, the passenger straps it on her left arm. It can be held with both hands.
